"Abstract forms, with an organicist tendency and inspired by Miró, alternate with pleasant and delightful little groves of very tender, beautifully painted trees. The pink background, apart from being an absurd color, and therefore wonderful there, in the middle of landscapes, is like a large strawberry shortcake, offered to those driving on the highway." Jose Corredor Matheos. Triunfo, April 23, 1971

"Subject: Complaint from > Regarding its sign in the right-of-way area of the Barcelona-La Junquera motorway, in the municipality of Parets. At Km 18,400 [...] It has been painted on the façade with different combined colours resulting in a kind of modernist painting, which, because it is so bright and striking, is believed to be able to affect traffic safety. In view of Article 5 of Decree-Law 5/1966 of 22 July and Article 6 of Decree 1953/1962 of 8 August, its immediate removal is ordered." 2 April 1971 Ministry of Public Works.

"Capricious fate brought Isidor Prenafeta into contact whith Barcelona's terrible twins" Of the counter-culture, top-pop boys Eduardo Arranz-Bravo and Rafael Bartolozzi working as a team, as they have been for some time past, their abile paint brushes and agile spray cuns can produce at the flick of whip all the teeming flora and fauna of yellow submarineland complete with the psychic undertones of a David Hockney or an Allen Jones." Dorothy Molloy. Irish Independent, April 21, 1971
Throughout the fifty years of Tipel's history, Arranz-Bravo and Bartolozzi have carried out different mural interventions. In 1976 they painted a second marine-themed mural on a wall more than thirty meters from the factory. The two artists, who have worked separately, will paint on the walls of the new boiler room (Arranz-Bravo) and the new laboratory (Bartolozzi). The original paintings of the Tipel will be the subject of two restorations: The first during the year, and the second on the 2019 pass, to the priest of Arranz-Bravo, accompanied by the artists Bernat Daviu and German Consetti.
Along with Pop and Psychedelic motifs, in the work of Arranz-Bravo and Bartolozzi contemporary with Tipel, abstract motifs abound, with a Mironian, organicist and stellar tendency; works with burlesque and irony, with geometric elements sovint industrials. Bartolozzi's work is softer, with a strong inclination towards eroticism. The d'Arranz-Bravo is more forceful: It alternates visceral works with others that are more imaginative and fictional.
"The desire to destroy a work of art is surprising, in contrast to the legal norms that prohibit precisely everything that, from the roads, could prevent the contemplation of works of art. The only motivation is Nazi horror capped at living art, considered as degenerat." Alexandre Cirici Pellicer. Serra d'Or maig 1971
One day in April 1971, a regime official, in front of the factory all along the highway, filed a complaint against the paintings and ordered their elimination. The ridiculousness and injustice of the ban generated a great revolt in the press. The critics Corredor Matheosa, Cirici Pellicer or Giralt Miracle, write effusive articles in the latest defense. National magazines (Orfilama, Bocaccio) and international magazines (Domus or Srchitecture Design), in broad front. All that movement led to the complaint not being successful and Tipel becoming one of the most remembered cultural icons of its time.
In February 1971, one of the most famous icons of the seventies in Catalonia was inaugurated in Parets del Vallès: the mural paintings of the Tipel factory, by Eduard Arranz-Bravo and Rafael Bartolozzi. The tandem overflows an initial encàrrec of the businessman Isidor Prenafeta in a somni pintat: the intervention of the two thousand square meters of factory of the curtits i pells factory. Amb five months enllestiren 'the greatest pop painting in the world', with elements proper to libertarian culture—psychedelia, utopia—, through vital colors and expansive forms, which will emerge festively among the winter forests of Vallès.

INTERVIEW EDUARD ARRANZ-BRAVO
"L'autèntic social art is the art that is part of the course of life and society. Our factory has exactly this finality. It escapes from the quadre because it is such a process: That it is fa to the study, the exhibitions, ho understand... hi has with a confinement in all això, to which cal afegir the commercial speculation of the Marchand. I the intellectual of the critic. It is a modern version of the medieval empstat: The painting treated with a malalt, with the camillers and the psychiatrist on the coast. ARRANZ-BRAVO i BARTOLOZZI. El 14 de març de 1971el diari LA VANGUARDIA obria la seva edició de diumenge amb una portada a tot color - Una de les primeres a l'estat - amb les pintures de LA TIPEL, fotografiades per Xavier Misera-chs, i un text de Baltasar Porcel: "It is like an extravagant and multicoloured rethinking of the game. An unusual, constant collective game; an artistic game stripped of the decorative function of the mural or the pedagogical intentionality of Romanesque painting."
